Aruba CH

The Aruba heavy cruiser is a major modification to the old RDC Jan van Toch. As the Jan van Toch class didn't quite meet the RDC requirements most of them have been sold to the VRC when the RDC replaced them with van Amstel CAs. The VRC does not require pitched battles, so some armour was removed to make place for some more offensive weaponry. It has not much in the way of close defences as it is always supposed to operate in combination with the Bonaire light cruiser in support.

Bonaire CL

The Bonaire light cruiser is a major modification to the old RDC Tromp. These were bought when the RDC replaced them with the De Ruyter CEs. The ship was modified similarly to the Aruba CHs. The version shown here is intended to support Aruba CHs.

Curacau CL

The Curacau light cruiser is a another major modification to the old RDC Tromp. This one is slower and better armoured than the Bonaire class, and is mainly intended for convoy escort duties.

Saba FF

The Saba frigates are modified versions of the RDC's Schelde frigates. As the VRC does not like the concept of the throw-away ship represented by the RDC's Type 23 corvette class, it opted for adapting the sturdier Schelde frigates for a multitude of roles.
