Tired of Monopoly and Space Invaders? Want to do more than a simple game? Then come to Murphy Mania 98, the biggest convention organised by Murphy's Heroes ever, and a whole new world of games and adventures will open to you.

Murphy Mania 98 will be organised on Saturday 26 September 1998. It will be held in Trefcentrum Delfstede in Delft. There will be lots of great stuff, just as we did last year, and we even have fantasy Megagame planned for Sunday 27 September. We have also arranged hotel accommodations.

Saturday 26 September

This will be the main day with :

NSTSB/Non Star Trek Space Battle

Historical and fatsay wargames

Boardgames

Role playing games

Computer games

Demos by several live-roleplay and reenactment societies
Several tournaments
Traders from The Netherlands and abroad

There will be some demo games, but most games are participation games so we hope we will be able to entertain you the whole day.

Trefcentrum Delfstede is at about 5 minutes walking distance from Delft central station, alog the railway close to the mill. The address is Phoenixstraat 66, Delft.

The convention will be held from 10.00 to 18.00 hours.

Admission is Dfl 5,- (children under 12 can enter for free if accompanied by an adult.

This year we will organise four tournaments:

Dutch open championship DBM Ancients
Date : 26 and 27 September, start : 10.30
Armies will be 400 points from books 1 and 2
4 battles swiss style (max 20 participants)

Warhammer Fantasy Battle tournament
Date : 26 september, start : 10.00
Armies will be 2000 points
4 battles knock-out style (max 16 participants)

Magic the Gathering tournament
Date : 26 September, start : 10.00
Type 2 tournament(constructed)
Admission : Dfl 5,-
Painting competition
Date : 26 september, entries are accepted after 10.30
Admission : Dfl 2,50 per entry

Sunday 26 September

On Sunday there will be only two events. The DBM tournament from Saturday will finish and the big fansay megagame will be held. The science fiction megagame we had last year has about 50 participants and we intend to make this game at least as successfull.

Accomodation

This year we have again made a deal with the four-star MuseumHotel.
This hotel is at 2 minutes walking distance from Delftstede in the centre of Delft.

One-person room is Dfl 100,- per night.
Two-person room is Dfl 120,- per night. Third person is Dfl 20,- extra.
